New: Forums at The disAbility Support Network
I was never happy with the Groups program that our network used. Not a whole lot of options…not even the ability to search for posts!
I’m happy to announce that we now have a very nice forum program installed. A couple of cool of features:
- You can embed videos from a large variety of 3rd party sites like YouTube
- Embed an Ebay item – your own or one that you think someone else might be interested in
So far, I’ve created Forums with the following topics:
- Introduce yourself
- Adult forum
- Forum for adults with special needs
- Forum for kids with special needs (13 years or older)
- Siblings of people with special needs (again you must be 13 years or older)
- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Speech therapy
- Vision therapy
- Music therapy
Regarding the site itself, there are forums for:
- Need help?
- Suggestion box
I can always add more…just put in a suggestion. I hope that people will join in and have fun, learn, and get the support that we all need!
